2012 Comrades Marathon Results

Congratulations to all the Comrades runners on your fantastic times!!

There really were some incredible times, starting with Norah, who proved that she is the fastest Grand Master of the whole bunch, winning her category. Well done.

There were some amazing PB’s (15 in all), with Caron knocking off 30 mins off her up PB and 1:55 off her down PB, and Nicki taking off 1:15 off last year’s time (I think these 2 friends have something going here).

There were NO Vic Clapham medals in the whole group! How is that!! Clearly the Gestapo training methods of Gill and Leigh (hee hee) are producing results. And how was Sue Harrisberg’s 13^th sub 9 Comrades (and 10^th official Bill Rowan)?

To Doug, who raised over R160,000 for the Kliptown Youth Program, what an achievement!!!

To those few that didn’t make your goals, keep persevering and remember, it is only over when you say it is!!
